How to Choose a Constant Temperature and Humidity Test Chamber ?

Constant temperature and humidity test chambers are climate test devices. They can simulate high, low, and constant temperature and humidity conditions.

Test chambers with constant temperature and humidity usually have low temps of 0°C, -20°C, -40°C, and -70°C. High temps are often 85°C, 120°C, and 150°C. Common humidity points are 20°C/95%; 40°C/93%; 85°C/85%.

Customers should check the relevant industry and product standards before choosing a constant temperature and humidity test chamber.

There are usually clear requirements for temperature and humidity for climate resistance. There are also specific test curves and time requirements. After clarifying the requirements, it is advisable to choose equipment with a slightly wider temperature range, as a proper margin can meet more standard requirements in the future.

Specifically, consider the following:

1. Size selection: Measure the size and volume of the test product. The size of the test chamber directly determines the size of the test chamber.

2. The test chamber's temperature and humidity must match the product's operating range.

3. The size of the elevator and corridor doors will limit the size of the test chamber.

4. Power selection: Test chambers under 150L use 220V single-phase power. Those over 150L use 380V three-phase power. This is stable and good for the lab and the equipment's service life.

5. Air cooling and water cooling: Small test chambers under 1m3 use air cooling. They must keep a constant temperature and humidity. Large temperature and humidity test chambers or rapid temperature change test chambers usually use water cooling. Due to the larger refrigeration configuration, shock test chambers are usually water-cooled.
